China Face

Is she not a pretty doll?
The one that no one wants.
Yelled at purely for her tears
Receiver of their taunts.

Stuck there on a broken shelf
No friendly arm for need of help
A picture but not picturesque
Now alone she's such a mess

How dare you break her china face
She's damned enough without her grace
She cries out loud to no avail
Her cheeks are white; her face is pale
Her tears are cold; as hard as stone
Upon that shelf she weeps alone.

She does not want to die, you know
But she doesn't want to live
Her talents that she has to show
She can no longer give

Coz another pretty doll she knows
Has everybody's praise
Why is she talentless
She means not what she says

How dare you break her china face
